Answer by 5p4m1n4t0r
There is no way.

Lone Assassin is such a stupid and overused name. Go think up something more creative, less archetypal, and less 15-yr-old.

How to Teach Creative Writing to Students

Creative writing is a way to get your students interested in the writing process and more excited about literature and different forms of expression. A creative writing lesson could cover poetry writing, short stories, creative non-fiction and satire. Decide what you will be focusing on when teaching creative writing. Your goal should then be to develop your students’ interests and to make the writing assignment relevant to your students’ lives.

Instructions

I’ve been writing most of my life, ever since the yearning to become a writer crept into my consciousness when I was about ten years old. I won’t claim to be a great writer, yet I know without doubt, my writing has steadily improved over the years. And, so can yours. If you too have a desire to become a better writer, continue reading.

1
Make a lesson plan. The lesson plan should be detailed and make full use of a student’s available time. Any copies or samples you need should be gathered and ready before class.
2
Bring in and discuss examples of different creative writing forms for the students to see. Students will get a better idea of what is expected of them with samples to use as a guide.

3

Cover different literary elements and give a compiled list to your students. Stress how each functions in a piece and how it helps add either humor, drama, irony or to the overall mood of the piece.
4
Give several writing options and topics or choose a class theme for students to write about. Limit the options and topics, not the creativity. This will make assessment manageable.
5

Give the students an option to work in groups or individually. If students work in a group, each group member should contribute something unique to the overall production of the piece.

* 6

Have students present. By having oral presentations, students get a chance to see what others created. This further stimulates your students’ imaginations by giving them new ideas.

Tips & Warnings

*

Keep the lesson student centered and allow students to write about something that interests them. Stay away from cliched topics and ensure students have enough time to complete the assignment.

For many people, saving money for extra things can be difficult. But if you invest a bit of money from your tax refund for your creative hobbies, it may be a great way to start off the rest of the year.

Publishing A Book
Picking up a writing hobbie can be a great way to spend your tax refund creatively. It may sound far-fetched to publish a book, but there are many sites that allow you to upload content and simply have it be printed and published with an ISBN. Do you have a family cookbook, book of family photos or stories you’d like to see printed? Your family can purchase copies and so can the world! On CreateSpace, you can create a book for less than 40 dollars (their Pro plan is 39 dollars) and purchase proof copies for a few more. Other companies that allow you to self-publish your book are iUniverse and Lulu.com. Why not challenge yourself to writing a family memoir, compiling a collection of poetry or writing a children’s book for your children?

Painting
If you love to create images, you can order cheap art supplies at Cheap Joes. Buy some paints, brushes and a canvas. Then, you can create paintings to hang up in the home, give to your friends as gifts or sell on your own blog or web site.

Dancing
Did you know most YMCAs and community colleges offer dance classes? Why not sign up for a dance class at your local dance studio or community center? A class may be a series of weekend dates or a few times a week after work, but it will get you in shape, provide a chance to meet new friends and teach you a new dance for a relatively low price. If you’re interested in something special, search for sites that will help you find dance classes, like this site.

Photography
This is another way to spend your tax refund creatively. All you need is a camera (digital cameras are very affordable at rates for many set between 99 dollars and 200 dollars) and a photo album. You can pick three themes and go on a photo adventure. For example, take photos of city life, rural life and animals. When you’re happy with your collection, upload them onto your computer or bring them to a photo developer. Then, place them into an album. Voila!

So take some time to do something for yourself or your family. It’s a great way to start the year off and get creative at the same time!

Creative writing is like group therapy with a pen.
You will present your work and be subjected to classroom critique as well as being graded on your work.
You will complete an assignment, make copies for your classmates, and discuss your work as a group.
Don’t take creative writing if you are sensitive to criticism, otherwise it a fun course.
Along with improving your writing, self awareness is the end result.

Question by Rain_Lily: What are some creative ways to spell out “I love you”?
I want to write “I love you” in as many creative ways as I can, then take pictures of them and send them to my boyfriend for his birthday.

Some of the ideas I have so far are writting it out with Scrabble pieces, alphabet soup, or keys from a keyboard.

I also have writting it out in ketchup, or in the snow or sand, but I like the idea of already having the letters and just arranging them, like in the first three, better than writing it out.

Anything helps, though. I want as many as possible.

THANK YOU to anyone who can help!

Clouds created by a plane…there are surely such photos on the net.
Cookies in form of letters (like gingerbread)…or icing on a piece of cake/gingerbread…
Eight pictures of some persons standing and facing you; than make small paper quadrats with letters, like they would be holding panels in a demonstration…and make a photo of that…
