For your analytical writing, I would just read as many essays, papers, science journals, etc. as possible. For creative writing, read poetry, novels and the like. Try to read the work of others from your college and then try to arrange a meeting or tutoring session with them. I think in this case, the best way to learn is by example and talking with the actual authors is always a plus.
You can also just make it appear like your writing has improved
invest in "The Elements of Style" or similar writing guides to improve your grammar and writing style. I found in my english class that I could write a horrible content-essay but still get an honors grade by "prettying it up" with advanced grammar and big words.

First of all, hang out near movie theatre lines and 7-11′s…some of te best English is spoken in these areas. Secondly, eat out a bunch, CHinese one night, Mexican another..even stop by a Thai place. Avoid places like Arby’s & Burger King some real tards hang out there. Also avoid Walmart & Payless. Hope this helps.

To improve your creativity be open minded, usually think Harry Potter is just for children? Check it out, you might find yourself reading from Mr. to well. ("well." is in Deathly Hallows). Usaully watch the O.C.? Try Prison Break, browse your DVD rentals store (if you`re not subscribed better subscribe soon).
