Q&A: Creative writing- short story ideas?

Question by : Creative writing- short story ideas?
The task is : “Take a line from a Shakespeare play and use it as the title for your own piece of writing”.
I narrowed my preferred lines down to:
By that sin fell the angels
God has given you one face, and you make yourself another
Hell is empty and all the devils are here
O serpent heart, hid with a flowering face.
The short story should be no longer than a 1000 words, and all I’m looking for is a vague idea for a plot, because right now I’m really stuck and we need a plan for tomorrow. Thank you in advance! x

What do you think of this short story?

Question by Cris V: What do you think of this short story?
i realize it is a little on the long side of the “short story” style, but never the less, its still short. The first section is a basic synopsis of a story i read online and i ended up loving it so i wrote a story based on it. This was my final project for “Creative Writing” last year (Im a junior in high school now) so it’s been a while since ive actually worked on it.

I just want to know if it’s actually any good. Thanks for the feedback in advance icon smile What do you think of this short story? Please give me alot of feedback icon smile What do you think of this short story?

Fictional Story that I wrote in the span of an hour. I love creative writing .. but I like it to be realistic. I’m very interested in the feeling that pain, loss, and tradgedy induces. I in no way support any of that … but the emotions it induces are very powerful and I love the way it makes me think somtime. I meant to make the ending a little more interesting … however I want you all to think about how you thought it might have ended … give yourselves a little bit of time to be creative. I would also like to say I am not some emo kid who can’t walk away from his past and is depressed blah blah blah blah. This is my creative writing which i’ve created through personal experiences in my past. Some of the events in this story are true and did happen to me. And then some … obviously didn’t. I hope you all enjoy this video .. and if not .. I guess you can please some people some of the time right? The original song was supposed to be Bother from Corey Taylor but the stupid copyright fucked that all up. Anyways, moonlight sonata is also a beautiful song. icon smile Oblivous ( Very Sad Story ) [ Moonlight Sonata Beethoven] Enjoy!

Publishing story on my blog? Is that okay?

Question by : Publishing story on my blog? Is that okay?
I manage a blog, where I write about random topics. Sometimes, I even write descriptive essays in my “Creative Writing” section. Recently, I was thinking of writing a really long story, more like a novel (but I don’t wanna publish it). So, would it be okay if I created a separate category for the novel and wrote chapters in my posts?

As far as I know, blogs are mostly used as online journals. But, I don’t wanna create a fanfiction, since some people have already subscribed to my blog. Besides, I don’t like those ads in facfiction.

So, it won’t be awkward, or wrong, would it?

BTW, here’s the link to my blog if anyone would like to check it out: xerolt9.wordpress.com

Q&A: Does anyone wanna hear MY side of the Story?

Question by Ally: Does anyone wanna hear MY side of the Story?
To my many Friends, who defended me, in one of Earnests’ Questions, yesterday. My deep appreciation for your kindness. Will never be able to be fully explained.

It is to those others, I wish to address.

Question:
Instead of showing your complete lack of respect for your Fellow American. Why not approach Y/A. And see if they will open up a “Creative Writing” Site. Whereby you can show off this (so-called) talent of yours. Talent to show anger, hatred, filth, disrespect, defamation, `zingers’. And any other vile form of attitude.

And leave this Site for discussing Political Issues?

You could all see who can put others down. To the lowest common denominator. And some could even have it show on their Resume.

To the Person who uses the “Moonbats” line? (respectfully) ..Your LINE AIN’T WORKIN’!! …It’s not convincing one damn person that they should Vote as a Republican. Shouldn’t that be the reasons of being on here? Don’t you believe, we need the Voters?
In just over a Year. We’re gonna have to decide which direction this Country is gonna go. Playing, “Macho”. Isn’t gonna solve any problems. Get anyone Elected. Or make Our Country Safe. I ask that we talk about The Issues. And leave the hatred for those who disrespect This Nation.
Citizenj? Non-Answer. Check! I gotcha down!
To ALL of my Loyal Friends!!! Be ready for the Lunch-Time Crowd. This could get really interesting!!

Afterall, silence can only mean that they get “OUR” message. Loud & Clear!!
